How the Spectrum Outage Map Works
This is a community-powered outage map that shows where Spectrum customers are reporting problems right now. All the red markers on the map come from real reports submitted by real people. The data is collected from Spectrum customers themselves. We do not get data from Spectrum directly.
The map refreshes every 60 seconds. To get the latest data, click the “Refresh Status” button above. The refresh bar also shows the last updated time of the map.
If you click a red pin, you will see the state name, the number of reports in the last 24 hours, and the status of the outage. If only a few reports have come in, it will show “Minor Outage.” If more reports are submitted from the same location, the status changes to “Degraded.”

Spectrum does not publish a public outage map. Outage information is only shown inside your own account. To check any issue at your address, you have to log in at Spectrum.net or open the My Spectrum app. There is no official map that lets you see outages across different states.
Spectrum only shows a problem once their own team has confirmed it. Smaller problems that affect a few streets often never get reported, so your account can keep showing normal service while your street is down.
This map shows outage reports and the time they were submitted by real people. A problem can appear here before Spectrum confirms it.
Check the map first. If outage reports are coming from your city, the issue is on Spectrum’s end, not on your side. If the map does not show any outage in your area, unplug your modem for 60 seconds, plug it back in, and give it a few minutes to reconnect. This fixes most problems. If the issue persists, submit a report and call Spectrum to let them know about your problem.
All the data on the outage map comes from real people. When someone loses their Spectrum service, they submit a report on this website with their ZIP code and city name. That report is added to the live map automatically.
Reports stay on the map for 24 hours, then they drop off. Spectrum fixes most problems within 1 to 4 hours, and even major outages are usually resolved within 24 hours, so anything older than that no longer tells you what is happening right now. Your report is not deleted. It still appears on the All Reports page.
Yes, you do not need to create an account to check the Spectrum outage map. Enter your ZIP code on the Spectrum Outage ZIP Code page, or use the Near Me page to check reports near your location. You also do not need to sign up to submit your own report.
